Am I too old to take a gap year?

No way go for it!! Its better to do it and not have any regrets and especially if yuo don't have any commitment like a mortgage/job.

No, visit https://www.gapyearworld.com there are tons of trips for 30+ year olds.

Yes there really is no age limit to taking a gap year, career break or just exploring the world. You'll meet so many different ages when overseas, from 18 year old gappers to retirees. Age limits do apply to some programs like working holidays, but for others like tours, language courses and volunteering these are open to everyone.
