Are GVI a scam company?

Like whats been said above, I just found the overall price for a GVI program with flights was just too expensive.

I know the GVI projects are really expensive but it is worth it just incase something goes wrong like a medical problem or cancelled flights? I'm researching volunteer options for next summer 2027 but just organising everything by myself is a bit overwhelming so I thought about just paying a company for peace of mind.
