Does anyone know any reputable free tefl certifications to get qualified to teach abroad? I'm a bit tight for money but this is something I want to do.

I would be very wary of, and avoid anyone offering free teaching qualifications.

Yes the chances are they are recognised, also a lot of TEFL courses are quite cheap so just spend the money to have peace of mind. Some job packages also include the course included in the fee.

They aren't free but have you looked at online TEFL courses? They are a lot cheaper than classroom options.
