Is there any point is starting a travel blog now with ai?

I'm keen to do a bit of travelling and I thought about starting a travel blog just for fun to keep me busy and to document my trip. My questions is, should I bothered starting a travel blog now with ai taking over the world? Like is it totally pointless? Are travel blogs now dead? What do you think is it worth my time and effort?

If you like the idea of documenting your trip to share with your friends and family, why not! If you are starting a travel blog to try to make a career out of it, this is definitely now more challenging due to the vast amount of blogs already established. I would maybe focus on Youtube and TikTok if you have the confidence to be infront of the camera.
