I'm a 24 year old student currently in my second year of Bench Joinery and working with some wooden boat builders and a 3D Wood design craftsman to gain some experience.

I'd like to migrate abroad (with my girlfriend who is an Artist) some time next year and work in relation to my chosen field. The places we had in mind range from Canada to Scandinavia to Japan to New Zealand, maybe even Thailand but we're not sure on what kind of opportunities there are.

I'm not made of money so somewhere providing lodging would be great.

I know this is a very vague and tall order but does anyone have any experience in something related to this? I don't know where to begin!
