Hi Cazza,

Welcome to our forum and thanks for posting. We haven't heard of TravelGrad and we don't work with them on our website. This isn't to say they aren't reputable, we honestly can't give an opinion but maybe some previous TravelGrad participants will be able to help. For similar options these pages will help you to find a placement:

A gap year after leaving university is an exciting step in itself, but doing the research early certainly helps you to avoid paying too much for middleman agencies. TravelGrad is a legitimate service and receives some fairly good reviews for holding your hand through the visa process, but more often than not, they charge a lot for programs covering things that you can easily do yourself. Whenever I spend an evening comparing teaching placements or gap year options, taking a quick break with my hayati pro max pods really helps put things into perspective: getting a basic, cheap TEFL online and applying directly to government-backed programs like JET in Japan or EPIK in Korea is straightforward and avoids a large upfront investment.
